Spatial Pixel Lab at The School of Visual Arts.

The Spatial Pixel Lab is a programmable space for exploring human-computer interactions beyond the screen.

It is a testing ground for experimenting with multimodal AI’s potential to shape more natural, embodied ways of working with technology – using natural language, voice, movement, and spatial computing - all for your space, not your face. ;-)

A partnership between Spatial Pixel and SVA’s MFA of Interaction Design Program, the Lab opened in May 2025 to students, researchers, faculty, and designers.
